The General Academic Regulations which are in Section IV (General Academic Regulations) of the University Calendar apply to and regulate the programmes listed above.
On occasion, programmes can be exempted from one or more of the clauses in the General Academic Regulations, or one or more of the clauses can be varied.
The programmes listed have approval from the Academic Quality and Standards Committee for the exemptions and/or variations to the regulations noted below.
- Exemptions are characterised by the omission of the relevant clause.
- Variations are characterised by the replacement of the clause with alternative wording.
Additional requirements are also listed.

||Internal Repeat: It is not possible to repeat the compulsory year abroad. However, the assessment for HUMA3013 may be re-submitted as a referral and/or re-submitted as an external repeat only.
|The clause(s) listed below describe where a variation to General Regulations exists.
The assessment for the Year Abroad module HUMA3013 will not contribute to the final degree classification. However, in order to progress a student must pass the assessment.
