+ 3 units from POLI/INTR list; (course units cannot be taken if the corresponding course unit was taken in Year 2)
+ 2 course units from School of Social Sciences, MANG or PSYC lists. In any given year, course units SOCI3003/SOCI3004 - SOCI3011/SOCI3012 will be taught in either Semester I under their odd numbered code or Semester II under their even numbered code. When offered in Semester II, they can be taken with the appropriate co-requisite Semester II course unit of the same title followed by the numeral 'II'
+ Dissertation [POLI3016 (double course unit) or SOCI3019 (double course unit)]
NOTE: 1 course unit may be chosen from School of Social Sciences, MANG or PSYC lists in lieu of an optional course unit. Course units cannot be chosen if the corresponding course unit was taken in year 2.
