1. Course requirement: Advanced level pass, or equivalent, in an approved mathematical subject.
2. In the first year (Part I) eight subjects will be studied and examined as follows:
Semester one:
STAT1007, MATH1018, an approved Economics unit (ECON1001 (without A Level) or ECON1003 (with A Level)
Semester two:
ECON1002, STAT1005
Both Semesters:
3 units from Social Sciences list (excluding MANG1007, ECON1005 ECON1008, ECON1012, ECON1009, STAT1003)
3. Year 2
Semester one:
ECON2001, ECON2006
Semester two:
ECON2002, ECON2007
4 units from ECON2** units (excluding ECON2026) or Social Sciences list (excluding MANG2008)
4. Year 3
Semester one:
ECON3008, ECON3014
Semester two:
ECON3013, ECON3031
Both Semesters:
either Contemporary Problems in Economics Paper (1 unit) (ECON3021) or Dissertation/Project (2 units) (ECON3023). 2/3 units from ECON3* (excluding ECON3007 and ECON3012) or Social Sciences list.
5. Up to two of the optional units in Years 2 and 3 taken together may be drawn from the approved list of units other than ECON units.
