Modern History and Politics
  1. Course Requirements
    A-level History or Economic History or Politics or British Constitution; GCSE pass in Mathematics. Preference will be given to applicants with GCSE passes in a foreign language or Economics.

  2. Unit courses
    Year 1: HI118; HI120, plus two History Cases and Contexts units; PO101, PO102, PO106, PO107
    Year 2: (if not taking Politics dissertation in year 3) two double History units; PO251, PO205 or PO203, two Politics options
    Year 2: (if taking Politics dissertation in year 3) two double History units, PO251; PO263, PO264 plus one Politics option
    Year 3: HI370, History special subject; either Special subject assessed work and 3 Politics units or Special Subject dissertation and 3 Politics units or History thematic and 4 Politics units

  3. Special requirements
    None.
